# Retired TEST keys

> TEST keys now live only in a Sandbox

## One key per environment

Live accounts used to have a TEST key of their own, which created test objects
(`live_mode: false`) inside the real account. Those keys were retired: your live
account holds LIVE keys only, and TEST keys exist only inside a Sandbox.

If your integration used one of those keys, it receives `401` with the message:
"Esta llave TEST no existe. Las cuentas LIVE ya no tienen llave TEST: las llaves TEST
ahora viven en un Sandbox. Ábrelo en Configuración → Llaves API → Sandbox y usa su
llave TEST."

To keep testing, open **Configuración → Llaves API → Sandbox**, create a TEST key
there, and follow [First test payment](/guides-english/getting-started/first-test-payment).
Test objects the old key created do not move to the Sandbox: recreate the products
and prices you need. They stay on your account, but no LIVE key lists or resolves them.
